Modern kitchen cabinetry
Turbit PVC Foam Boards are extruded purely with high-grade polyvinyl chloride polymer cells (density 0.45 to 0.65 g/cm³), making them ultra-lightweight, 100% waterproof, and exceptionally easy to handle for wardrobes and general furniture.

Turbit WPC Boards (Wood Polymer Composite) combine polymers with concentrated natural wood fibers in a 3-layer co-extrusion structure (density 0.70 to 0.75 g/cm³). WPC offers higher tensile rigidity, maximum screw holding capacity like teak wood, and is recommended for heavy kitchen cabinets, exterior doors, and structural cladding.
You can verify density using a simple physical formula: Density = Weight (kg) / Volume (m³).

For a standard full sheet (1220 mm × 2440 mm = 2.977 m²):
  • A 17mm sheet at 0.70 density should weigh approximately 35.4 kg.
  • A 17mm sheet at 0.55 density should weigh approximately 27.8 kg.
If a sheet labeled "0.70 density" weighs under 30 kg, the claims are inflated. Turbit guarantees verified batch density benchmarks on every single sheet.
Yes! For hinge mounting and heavy load-bearing carcases, we recommend our PENTA HD (0.55 D), HEXA 3-Layer (0.58 D), or WoodKor WPC (0.70 D). Use parallel-thread dry-wall screws or specialized chipboard screws without pre-drilling oversized pilot holes. The dense core provides continuous mechanical interlock.
Absolutely. Both Turbit PVC and WPC boards feature zero open pores and complete water non-absorbency. You can submerge a Turbit board in water for months without any dimensional swelling, fungal development, or softening. They are ideal for coastal areas, kitchen sinks, and outdoor hoardings.
Yes. The smooth outer skin of Turbit boards readily accepts:
  • Painting: PU paints, Duco paints, and acrylic emulsions with standard plastic primer.
  • Lamination: High-pressure laminates (HPL) using synthetic rubber adhesives (SR adhesive / Fevicol HeatX).
  • Acrylic & PVC foils: Direct pressing or membrane vacuum pressing.
Yes, Turbit HEXA D (3-Layer), HEPTA D, and WPC WoodKor are favorites among CNC workshop operators across Kerala. Because of the uniform core cell density and rigid skin, CNC router bits cut cleanly without edge melting, fuzz, or burrs.
Turbit boards are designed for long-lasting performance, with resistance to termites, borers and moisture. Unlike plywood which contains edible organic cellulose that attracts pests, Turbit synthetic polymers cannot be digested by termites or wood-boring insects.
We are actively expanding authorized retail stockists across Kerala. We provide full display stands, branded banners, sample sample boxes, and delivery support from Palakkad. Call our partnership desk at +91 9846 999 934 or submit a dealer inquiry via our Contact page.
